The best friend and I decided to give this relatively well-known bistro a try partly because I’ve heard good things and we were in the area wanting an early dinner.
We were rather promptly served and directed to a table by the window (honestly, I felt a little weird sitting so close to Rokeby road as many people walk down that street on a Friday night)
We were served complimentary bread with butter – the bread was a slice from a whole basket and it was cold which was slightly disappointing.
No complaints about the steak – it was cooked to my liking, but not outstanding either. I’ll have to say though, that the onion rings wasn’t the best. Still, a decent main in all.
With the 1-for-1 entertainment book voucher, it worked out to be relatively reasonable. But I probably will not return as there are definitely other selection of restaurants in the area that would be a better experience.
